My name is Chico Junior. I have a story about my daddy Chico, Sr.

One day in the garden a strange cat came in. He looked very thirsty, and was out of breath. Mommy showed him to the water bowl. After he had some water he turned to Mommy, and asked for Chico. Mommy told him Chico was busy in the basement with the meter reader. He asked mommy to tell Chico to meet him in the playground. He said it was very important. When daddy came up from the basement, Mommy gave him the message, and daddy left the garden. When Chico reached the playground, he saw his friend who fit the description of the cat, who was looking for him. When Chico walked over to him, he could see some children huddled in the corner playing with four kittens. His friend Jeffrey told him he did not know what Tod do so he went looking for me. Yes, Chico told him he did the right thing and said the children should not be playing with such young kittens, and that there was no mother to be found. Chico went back to the garden. He told Mommy, and the others what he witnessed int he park. Mommy told him we cannot carry the kittens that far, and also she and the others except for Tommy, did not cross the street, and that Tommy said he did not know how to carry kittens. This was a job for the rescuer. They waited in the garden, and soon one of the rescuers showed up. She realized something must be wrong because none of the cats went over to the food. Chico came over to her and started making sounds. This was very unusual for Chico. Daddy walked out of the garden, and the rescuer followed him all the way to the park, and then to the kittens. She explained to the children that the kittens needed to be taken away so they can be cared for properly because they did not have their mommy. Then she put them in a leather pouch bag that she always carried with her. The rescuer, Chico and the four kittens went back to the garden. The rescuer showed al of us the kittens, and thanked Chico for doing a great job leading the rescuing of. the kittens. She then went upstairs with the babies. The next day, the rescuer came back to the garden to tell us that the kittens were doing well, and that when they were old enough they would go to forever homes. We were all so very happy. I will be back next month with another story about Daddy Chico.
