FLORIDA RESCUE RANGER

            These two little kittens, which I have named Teddy (the little gray tiger) and Ashley (the white kitten), were rescued in February 2023.  They were born between a fence, and a screen patio in a development.  The owner of the house did not even know that they were there, but she kept seeing this adult gray cat on the roof of her house, and running around her yard.  She got my phone number from a friend and told me about her situation, that she needed this cat rescued.  Once I got there, I could tell that the cat had been nursing.  Her stomach was hanging low, and I knew that I could not rescue her without finding her babies.  I immediately started looking around in the bushes etc., only to find these kittens in between her fence and screen patio.  It was a very tough rescue because they were unreachable. Amazingly enough, they were terrified when they saw me and started climbing the
screen, and I got a ladder and managed to grab them as they were climbing.  It’s pretty crazy what you go through to rescue these animals.  So, they went from being born outside in the harsh elements to going to the vet, and then finally to their New home where they were thankfully not separated and adopted together. This little brother and sister will have a beautiful life, instead of becoming feral cats.
