            This little six week old kitten, who we call Wendy, was found in a backyard next to the trash can, with her eyeball completely destroyed.  We took her in to the doctor the same day that we found her, and Save Our Strays has saved her life.  She was only 1 1/2 pounds, and the doctors said that her eye had to be removed.  We were not sure if she would make it through the surgery, because of her size.  They gave her a 50-50 chance.  She not only made it through, but she has an amazing attitude, and is completely healed after having her eyeball taken out. She is playful, and totally a normal kitten.  Having one eye has not slowed her down.  This little kitten is a perfect example to all of us, to move forward in your life.  She will have an amazing life, and will be adopted very, very quickly!  Thanks to Save Our Strays, little Wendy’s life was saved!  Seen above, are her before and after pictures.
