FLORIDA RESCUE RANGER
Kitten, season is in full swing. These two little twins were found on my neighbor’s patio, between the fence and the screen. I had to cut open the screen to rescue them. Two little girls. Thanks to Save Our Strays, I was able to care for them and de-worm them, and they will be ready for homes real soon! With Kitten season in full swing, don’t forget to check your patios periodically. There could be kittens out there, and you don’t even realize it. Just like this woman had them on her patio. The mother was trapped, and spayed. She was feral, and will be socialized and put up for adoption, when she’s ready to go. Thanks to Save Our Strays, one more mother, cat and kittens are off the street.

FLORIDA RESCUE RANGER
This is Boo-Boo. Boo-Boo is a friendly stray cat. Save Our Strays was told about Boo Boo’s severe eye problem, and they gave us permission to rescue Boo Boo so that he could get the medical attention that he needed for his eye. He was rescued from his colony, and taken to the vet to get the medical that he needed. Unfortunately, the eye doctor said that the eye was blind and was shrinking, and had to be removed because it could cause more problems for him in the future. Boo-boo has been such a good patient, and he has been very cooperative. Thank goodness that he is a friendly cat, and has the potential to be adopted. Removing his eye was a success, and Boo-Boo’s has become a happy cat without pain. He has adjusted very well, and is recuperating for 10 days before his stitches come out. We don’t know what happened to Boo-Boo’s eye. It is a complete mystery. These feral cats get into all kinds of situations, but thank goodness he let us help him and now he will live a more comfortable life, with no pain in the eye. Thank you to Save Our Strays for helping Boo-Boo with his boo-boo. No pun intended. |
