​Sweet Sunday
 
One of my friends was walking her dog, and she saw a cat lying on the side of a building.  She gave me a call, and told me about it.  She took me to where she saw the cat.  When we got there, the cat was still there in the same spot.  I suspected something wasn’t right.  I set the trap as close as I could.  Luckily, she did go into the trap.  When I took her home, I noticed that the fur on her chest was pink, and I realized that it was blood.  I took her to the veterinarian the next day.  The veterinarian examined her, and told me that someone had stabbed her in the chest with some type of ice pick.  I can’t believe how cruel people can be.  It was very upsetting, and thank goodness that Save Our Strays was there to help her to get better.  I named her Sunday because I found her on Sunday.  Save Our Strays paid for all of her treatment, and she will be spayed shortly.  In the meantime, she is recovering nicely, and will be ready for adoption soon.
