Save Our Strays was formed in 1968, and incorporated in New York in 1972. We are here 58 years at present. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to save the lives of animals. We are especially concerned with the millions of ill, injured, and abandoned animals now living on the streets of New York City, and other major cities in our country.
Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray animals, providing them with the care and love they deserve. We believe that every animal deserves a loving home and a chance for a better life. We work tirelessly to make this a reality.
