FLORIDA RESCUE RANGER

From Forgotten Backyard to a Future Full of Love: Meet Our Newest Resident Buddy!!

It’s hard to imagine what was going through this sweet boy's mind as the weeks turned into months.  He was once a beloved companion, but when his owner was moved into a nursing home, he was unintentionally left behind.  For months, he survived alone in the backyard of an empty house, waiting for a door to open that never did.  He was eventually discovered, weathered but resilient, by the Florida Rescue Ranger.  Despite the neglect, and the isolation he endured, his spirit remained unbroken.

A Journey of Recovery

When we first met him, he was unneutered and clearly in need of some TLC. However, the most surprising thing wasn't his rough exterior, it was his incredible heart.  Even after everything he’d been through, he greeted his rescuers with purrs and affection.  Thanks to the support of our community, and the hard work of our partners, we’ve been able to give him the fresh start he deserves:

            •  Rescued:  Removed from the abandoned property by the Florida Rescue

               Ranger.

            •  Medical Care:  He has been officially neutered, vaccinated and given a clean

                bill of health.

   •  Socialization:  He has proven to be an exceptionally friendly and "lap-

       ready" companion.

Ready for His Forever Home

This sweet tabby is a testament to the resilience of animals.  He doesn't hold a grudge against the world, he just wants a warm place to sleep and a hand to scratch his chin.

Because of Save Our Strays, he is no longer a "leftover" from a life moved on.  He is a cherished guest waiting for his true forever family.  He is fully recovered, super friendly and will be officially available for adoption very soon!
