 FLORIDA RESCUE RANGER - October - 2025

Dear friends,

            As the holidays approach, our thoughts turn to the warmth of family and the comfort of home.  For one little cat, this year's holiday season will be the first she's ever known in a loving home, thanks to the kindness of people like you.  Just a few months ago, this sweet feline was living a perilous life in a dump truck parking lot.  We can only imagine the dangers she faced, scrounging for food and seeking shelter from the elements.  Thankfully, she was rescued and brought to Save Our Strays.  We named her Rosie.

            Rosie was in rough shape, but our dedicated volunteers got her the care she needed.  She was spayed, received all her necessary shots and was given a safe place to rest and recover.  It wasn't long before her gentle nature and sweet purr won the heart of a wonderful family.  Rosie is now thriving in her new home, safe and sound for the holidays.

            Rosie's story is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.  However, there are countless other animals still waiting for their happy ending.  The holiday season is a particularly busy time for rescues, and the costs of medical care, food, and shelter add up quickly.
