FLORIDA RESCUE RANGER

Meet Cooper!

Isn’t he beautiful?  He is 10 weeks old, and thanks to Save Our Strays, he was neutered and his kitten shots were done, and he is waiting for his forever home.  As we start the New Year, you may consider adopting a kitten or cat to join your family. Cooper came from a pregnant, friendly, sweet cat that was left behind at an apartment complex.  This happens a lot when people move out of an apartment.  Sometimes they just leave their pet behind.  I don’t understand why, and how they do this when there are animal shelters to surrender them too.  Especially when the cat is super friendly, and does not belong on the street.  A pet is like your child.  I don’t know how people

can just give them up like that, and live with the guilt of just leaving them behind. When I found her, she was very pregnant and roaming around the development looking for food.  I literally just picked her up on a Friday, and she had her babies on a

Monday.  I got her just in time.  Cooper’s brother, and sister have been adopted.

Cooper will be adopted soon as beautiful as he is.  He is the last one to go.  Then his mother will get spayed, and she will be up for adoption.  Thanks to Save Our Strays, and the patients that it takes to care for these kittens and mother until they find their way, and find their forever home.  When adopting a cat or dog for the new year, please make sure that you know it is a minimum of a 15 year commitment, and to see the animal through all the way to the end of their days.  Of course, there are always circumstances beyond your control, whether or not you can keep the pet, but just remember that a cat or a dog is a great emotional support animal, and a great companion.  Happy New Year to you, and your family and your new pet!  Don’t forget to donate whatever you can do to help us rescue more animals, and get them off the streets.  Thank you to Save 0ur Strays.  They are an amazing organization with the passion, and the drive that it takes to go the distance.
