Meet Cooper!

Cooper was found behind a civilian‘s house, that had many cats roaming

around. He was picked up as a young kitten, and was taken to get neutered and all

his shots were done. Then he was given to a foster home. Have you ever heard the

term Foster failure? Well, when it was time for Cooper to go up for adoption, the

person that was fostering him grew very attached to him, and did not want to give

him up. I tried telling her that if she did that with every cat, she would end up with

100 cats in her house. But there’s an old saying, “Cats are like potato chips, you

can never have just one.” As you can see in the picture, Cooper has made himself

extremely comfortable. So, in a sense, even though he didn’t go up for adoption he

ended up with a really good home in the long run. That’s what it’s all about,

finding forever homes for all these cats that live on the streets. Thanks to Save Our

Strays for making it possible for these animals to have a second chance. So next

time you have the opportunity to foster a cat or kitten, just remember that you

might fall in love and end up with a forever Friend.
